Arcane Manuscripts

Talking with ~Qwiven (https://www.deviantart.com/qwiven) an idea materialised (her conversation tends to do that). Her suggestion was that I put my recent Arcane Scribblings series to paper. From that flowed the natural continuation, "why stop there? Something grand could be made!" The proposed plan of action is thus: Bring together some excellent artists, with a flair for realistic, anatomical or diagramatical art (:iconqwiven: I'm looking at you particularly) Compile a number of works on aged paper (or paper that appears to be aged) Bind them all into a large booklike structure (Hinged wooden cover? God I love it. The drizzle, the mist, scarves, overcoats, warm fires, autumn leaves. These are a few of my favourite things... Sorry... Julie Andrews inspired lists asside, autumn has to be a contestant for the best season. It's got anything anyone could possibly need to be comfortable. Meanwhile back at the ranch... I've really been on a retro bent lately. Hats, tweed coats, you name it I like it. Shame you look like an idiot wearing it in public... Oh well, when's that ever stopped me?
